The check usually takes under an hour for one property. The record has to be renewed every 12 months.
What you receive
A Landlord Gas Safety Record for the property, emailed to you the same day. Any faults found are listed on it, with a quote to put them right.
Tenant access
A time can be arranged with your tenant directly if you would rather not be there. You are told when the check is booked and when it is done.
More than one property
Checks for several properties can be booked on the same day where they are close together. Send the addresses with the request.
Reminders
A reminder can be sent before the next check is due.
Mains gas
The check covers mains gas appliances. Properties on LPG need an engineer registered for LPG.
Letting agents
Agents can book checks for the properties they manage, with the records sent to the agent, the landlord or both.
